Introduction of the institution
Limra English School is a 10 years old minority educational institution run by Nasiha Education & Welfare Trust. It is located in a very poor area (Slum Area) of Nalasopara, Maharashtra, India.
Despite lack of fund/resources/government aid, we are always intended to provide quality education with Islamic values to the economically weaker section of the Muslim community.
At present, 540 students are studying in our school and 25 staff (including teaching and non-teaching) are working.
Because of pandemic Covid-19, the school has been under lock-down for several days and due to this we have not been able to get the fees of the students for three months as the government has restricted schools to ask for the Fee. Moreover, in view of present circumstances, most of the parents of th school will not be able to pay the pending fees of the students. We are also not willing to ask for fees from parents because they are not in a condition to pay the fees for a long time due to the present circumstances.
But, at the time of this pandemic, teachers are in dire need of salary (this becomes more important due to the month of Ramadan). But due to the population being very poor, there is always a shortage of additional funds.
One month’s salary of a teacher and office staff is around 3,30,000 and that is why we need about 10,0000 Rupees.
If you help us, this will help not only a minority educational organization but also 540 families of students and 25 families of school staff.
